Economy Models - The Cost Efficient Choice

In our economy models, only the bottom of the jaw is ground. Our smallest series is only available as the economy model (Ak2-VT-SO).

The fixture's accuracy normally comes from the precision of the positioning elements, not from the clamp itself. The clamp's job is to generate the force to hold the workpiece against the positioning elements. We have designed our economy models to meet the demands of regular workholding when ultra precision is not a necessity. They are made of the same raw material as our other models, and the bottom of the jaws are ground for precise positioning on the fixture base.
